The Max Caulfield cosplay outfit we will focus on will be based on episode one. Max wears this outfit for most of the game, with slight changes in some of the later episodes. Max Caulfield is a fictional character in a video game series called “Life is Strange”. Created by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix in 2015. Max Caulfield is a young girl with a passion for photography, during class, she discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any point.
Her new abilities also allowed her to see a vision of the future in which a storm destroys the town she lives in, Arcadia Bay. Max sets out to warn Arcadia Bay of the impending doom that’s about to unfold. Using her new found abilities, Max’s decisions are constantly scrutinised as she tries to find the best vision of what the future of Arcadia Bay might look like.

Grey Fleece Hoodie
For the grey fleece hoodie, I found on Amazon. It is the best match I could find that resembled the hoodie Max wears. It is made mostly from cotton. The hoodie is not too light nor is it too heavy, it is just right. It is very comfortable and the size I ordered fitted perfectly although some of the reviews say it runs small so take that into consideration. For the price, I think this is a fantastic hoodie. Overall I do recommend it.
Max Caulfield cosplay pink t-shirt
The Max Caulfield cosplay pink t-shirt, I found here on Amazon. This is as close to the t-shirt I could find, the only difference being that the logo is black instead of it being white.
The design is the same as Max’s t-shirt which is great. The t-shirt itself was ok, felt comfortable for the most part. The colour was as the image advertised. Overall a good quality Max Caulfield cosplay t-shirt.
converse shoes
The converse shoes, I found on Amazon. I had owned several converse shoes in the past so I have a fair idea what good quality converse shoes is. These are a classic pair of converse that a very reasonable price. They are very comfortable and look fantastic.
Now the sizing chart is way off you are going to have to order your shoe size in men. I ordered based on what this reviewer said and the size I got fitted perfect so I will quote that below.
“The shoe chart is in reference to the men’s shoe size. Which means ONLY refer to the men’s size. I am a woman’s 9, so I ordered a woman’s 9. I got a woman’s 11/men’s 9. I should have ordered a men’s 7 since this is the only size that is considered. Good luck!”
Womens Jeans
For the Jeans, I got them on Amazon. They are made from a variety of materials that include cotton polyester. They run quite large so order a size down. They are comfortable to wear and they look very good.
If you have a similar pair of your own I would suggest you use them a save a little bit of money. If you don’t you can always wear these after you finish with the Max Caulfield cosplay as they are perfect for casual. everyday use.
Max Caulfield Messenger Bag
To finish off the Max Caulfield costume , I got the messenger bag on Etsy. I spent a long time looking for a custom made version of the Max Caulfield messenger bag but I could find one, so I went for a bad that was as close to the bag max uses and is still reasonably priced.
First off the bag was fantastic. It is very well made. The strap goes across the body and doesn’t get uncomfortable after long uses. I’ve only had the bad for a few days so It could very well fall apart in the next few weeks but so far it’s holding up. Very Nice addition.
Max Caulfield Wig
